BdB has more than 270 points of sale throughout Spain to facilitate a donation that will allow for the distribution of 75,000 masks nationwide to the groups that need them most.
A great gesture of SOLIDARITY that will provide materials, fabrics, elastics, and sewing thread to organized groups of volunteers who make them at home.
It should be noted that solidarity taxi drivers, the Civil Guard, and local police are collaborating on the necessary logistics. We also hope to soon receive support from a transport agency for interprovincial shipments.

Aware that their support is of vital importance to those most exposed to the virus, they listened to the request from the solidarity network manufacturing them and increased their financial donation to provide more fabric in collaboration with the company ORDUÑA 1755 SL.
This additional effort focuses on the group of more than 200 volunteers from “Madrid Masks” who, under the slogan “Protecting those who protect us”, manufacture and distribute this personal protective equipment wherever those highly exposed to the virus need it. These volunteers altruistically receive the necessary materials and, from their homes using sewing machines, make masks to donate to health centers, the police, senior centers, and various organizations helping vulnerable people.
José Durá, Managing Director of BdB, states that he is “fully committed to the fight against this virus, alongside many other entrepreneurs. Our role in society is now even more relevant, if possible, because despite the impacts of the crisis, we are one more social agent who, in other circumstances, enables the economic development of the region, and now contributes resources to protect society.”
BdB, for its part, is distributing a large number of masks across different regions of Spain, leveraging its store network. Deliveries have already been made to the Civil Guard in Zaragoza, Valencia, and Madrid, the Mossos d’Esquadra in Catalonia, and various town halls in the province of Salamanca. In this way, they will reach various groups in many locations that are currently a priority.
