More than a hundred entrepreneurs, merchants, and members of Bétera’s civil society gathered for the first edition of the Torre Bofilla Awards, organized by the Bétera City Council, to show their recognition of the merchants and entrepreneurs who contribute to the innovation, modernization, promotion, and competitiveness of the local business and commercial fabric. This initiative was promoted by the City Council’s Department of Trade and Industry, with the collaboration of the Association of Companies of Moncada, Alfara del Patriarca, Náquera, and Bétera (AEMON) and the Bétera Merchants Association (ACB).
As the Mayor of Bétera, Elia Verdevío, explained during her speech, “these are family businesses that have managed to sustain themselves, adapt, and evolve in the face of new consumer habits and the challenge of digitalization, without losing their values of proximity, personalized service, and trust.”
In the business category, the Business Trajectory award was presented to Schuller, the Innovation, Digitalization, and New Technologies award to Naranjas del Carmen, the Quality and Excellence award to Aromas del Campo SL, and the Corporate Social Responsibility award to ORDUÑA 1755 SL. “Companies with an exceptional capacity for growth, innovation, leadership, and social responsibility, which thanks to their growth strategy have been able to position their products in international markets,” stated Elia Verdevío.
During the gala, which took place in the gardens of Casa Nebot, all participants were able to enjoy eight audiovisual presentations of their business and commercial work; the Councilor in charge of Trade and Industry stated that “the winners are examples of dynamism and drive in different sectors that require constant adaptation to competitive and changing markets.”
